HorizonCube is a game-changing technology that impacts every level of seismic interpretation. A HorizonCube consists of a dense set of correlated 3D stratigraphic surfaces that are assigned a relative geological age.

Applications of the HorizonCube include:

Sequence Stratigraphic Interpretation System (requires SSIS plugin)

Detailed geologic model building

Low frequency model building for seismic inversions

Well correlations.

Note: as of v.6.05 (August 2016) the plugin supports a constrained inversion-based 3D HorizonCube algorithm in addition to a dip-steered algorithm.
