September 2019, I^3 GEO will run, in collaboration with dGB Earth Sciences, a series of training classes focused on covering all elements of a standard interpretation workflow. A basic interpretation workflow can be completed in the free part of OpendTect, and most time in class will be spend there with some excursions to capabilities found in the Pro version and commercial Plugins. All training classes will go into a high level of detail and will include ‘recess’ when the learned can be applied to your own data with the instructor being present for questions The learning objective and outcome is for the participant to be independently capable to complete a standard interpretation workflow in OpendTect after following these classes.

Includes: horizon tracking, horizon editing, fault plane interpretation, and extends to some advanced tools for horizon and fault interpretation found in the plugins.
